My wife and I went out with Sam August 05/23. He is a top notch guide. Very knowledgeable about the lower Deschutes river and it's surroundings. Sam is an active guide and does not sit in his boat and watch his clients fish. He even took the time to give my wife some casting instructions. I would not hesitate to recommend Sam to anyone who wants a great experience on the lower Deschutes. We will be back next year.
